John Updike

John Updike was Krusty the Clown's ghost writer on the episode "Insane Clown Poppy".   Updike was the author of his own undoing when he had the audacity to laugh at Krusty.  As the 42 previous victims of The Curse of The Simpson's have learned, you don't f*ck with The Simpsons.
